Personally, i think “pile-on” is a term best used when the onslaught is unwarranted. What you got in this thread is better described as “just desserts.”
As for whether it will happen again, that depends on whether you actually learned anything about your own behavior. I doubt very much will change. And when they are completely unsubstantiated, unsupported by anything but your own knee-jerk reactions and your seemingly pathological inability to countenance any political position but your own, then that critiism is very likely to be rather abundant.
