A lot of people in this thread have a poor grasp of what a “one liner” is.

Of course, many of those 40% are independents or Democrats, and in any case self-identification doesn’t always correlate very well with actual beliefs.

Personally, I would have loved for the President to calmly walk from the podium, purposefully stride to Wilson’s seat, and bitchslap the hell out of him. Wilson would have either run out of the room, or sat in the seat with a bright red mark on the side of his face. Because if you try to swing at the Pres, Secret Service will whup that ass.
