If you care at all about Lewis or Huxley, do read that thread for a good discussion of Lewis’s sexism/bigotry, and Skammer’s classic line:

I was composing a post in my head to defend the accusations against Lewis of bigotry, but I don’t think I can improve on Malacandra’s post.
I do think Lewis is guilty of cultural snobbery, but what Englishman isn’t?
