Unless you’re a fidgeter and you like to play with the little red button while pushing the stroller through the mall, and then your finger slips off the little red button and it pinches the webbing between your thumb and finger, then it sucks. But the rest of the time it’s nice.
I want A CAR THAT DRIVES ITSELF! Just type the destination address into the dashboard computer and pull out a book, have a cocktail, take a nap, smoke a bowl, jerk off, whatever you’d rather be doing. The speaker will alert/wake you when you’ve arrived.
Mobility rules. Driving sux.
An SUV for dog owners:
-
a ramp that pulls out of the bumper area that the doggies can use to get in and out safely.
-
a built-in dog-human grate that is retractable into the ceiling when dogs aren’t in the vehicle.
-
built-in water and food bowls with snap covers over them.
-
interior hooks for leashes.
A little pricey, but they do have adapters that do just that. A guy I knew at work loved his.
. Gotta say, the new GPS units in cars are great. I have a mobile one that my Wife bought me too. And the car that we rented at the Akron Ohio Airport came with one.
I was a little reluctant to not have a map, and do a little more research, but BOTH units worked great. I was driving from one place that I had NEVER been to before to another place that I had been too once, from a totally different direction. 100 miles one way.
Worked great.
It didn’t drive itself of course, but after I learned to use it and trust it, I could find anything.
I’ve used it to find hospitals, hotels, restaurants in the area, and specific addresses.
For instance, in Akron, my Wife and I had some time to kill. We drove around for a bit and found what we thought would be a nice restaurant for us. Got back to the hotel, looked for close restaurants and there it was, phone number too.
I’m in the GIS business, and I was very impressed with the quality of the data.
My bf has his ‘gaming’ mousepad that is huge - at least a square foot.
While I don’t have 1,2,3 or 4 in the new Pathfinder. One thing I really really like is front and rear climate control. The temparatures we drive in can be anything from 20 below to 100 above. It’s real nice to be able to put some direct heat or cool air directly into the back. I supose people would like it too. Keeps the dogs comfy and quietly sleeping.
Also, most SUV’s do have cargo hooks that could work for #4.
