Cry?
Instead of looking at porn I’d have to put up with a real woman which would be a pain because they have a tendency to talk back, ask you to hug them and other annoying things of the sort. Thank goodness for the internet.
I would start watching TV again…ever since the great world of Internet came into my house (to my own computer i should add) i haven’t watched TV for more than 24hours total in 2years. (but endless hours of DVD movies though )
I used to spend a lot of time in front the computer screen. Now that is winding down too…i started to read a lot again like i used to in school (a book of 400 pages is done in a day or two), listen to music and things of the sort.
I gotta start drawing again…
I remember not having Internet. Library card catalogs (the kind with actual CARDS) are such a pain in the wazoo! Research was much harder and less up to date, as well.
How the heck would I keep in touch with my best friend in Utah, my sister (currently) in Virginia, and sundry other folk? I can’t afford that much in long-distance phone bills! Plus I hate the phone. ::sob, cling to computer::
I would have more time to devote to my reading addiction though. I do currently manage a decent amount (finished Order of the Phoenix in two days! Woo!) but not as much as I did pre-Net. However, I get feedback from other people online, which books do not provide. Yeah, yeah, I know, I need to get out more… as soon as I find another aide I will…
Check the movie times with a newspaper again! I’d have to get a phone book as well.
You’re not the only one. But then the hospital closed though lack of funding.
