If in fact Texas law is applicable here, it’s hard to imagine how the Romeo and Juliet provision would not CERTAINLY be a saving grace. If the two actors are the same age, then as a matter of law both of them avoid criminal liability. There’s nothing the girl could say that could negate this, except to allege that the act was forcible, which you have already agreed is not a concern.

And even at trial, the rules of evidence would likely permit ZPG Zealot to testify that her nephew told her of his action. That is hearsay – an out of court statement offered in evidence to prove the truth of the matter asserted in the statement. But it falls under an exception to the hearsay rule known as an admission against interest.

Yes, Bricker, because things don’t happen in a fucking vacuum. Given the OP’s history of insanity, it actually is perfectly reasonable for me to have an opinion about her and her story based not only on this thread but also every other thread she’s posted with her…unique…beliefs about sex and the world.
She posted about alleged sexual behavior on the part of her nephew. She’s also posted her opinions about the sexual behavior of others in other situations. If you can’t see that my knowledge of those other posts will inform my opinion of this post, I suggest that you take a break from seeing the entire world as a possible court case.
This isn’t a courtroom, I’m not on a jury, and the fact that I have an opinion about the OP based not only on this post but on all other posts on this public message board is actually normal human behavior.

They also stay offshore for weeks at a time–for which they are well paid–& then return home for a couple of weeks. He’s not on a rocket bound for the moons of Jupiter.
