What would you eat, if you could eat *anything*? And by anything, I mean inedible/inorganic

A tall glass of Gasoline on the rocks.

I think rock. Not only could I eat my way into a mountain (home), but make money by working as a miner.

With selective digestion, I could even produce concentrated ore as a waste product.

Where’s my magic wand…

I’m with you on that one. Cheers! tink

Also, I have the feeling that aluminum cans would melt on your tongue. Beer bottles would taste like hard candy.

And just out of curiosity:
Books (mmm, a 1982 Stephen King…). A DeLorian. An iPhone. CDs and DVDs. Toothpicks. Needles. Christmas lights. Money. Bras.

How about babies. Sometimes, you snuggle their little fat necks and cheeks until you just want to bite!

Plus, my baby always smelled like cocoa butter.

Crystals. I have this necklace with a crystal hanging off of it, and it looks like it would taste delightfully sweet and sugary.

As an aside, since several people mentioned eating scented lotions … when I was little, for some unimaginable reason, I liked the taste of lotion. My mom used to put lotion on me after my bath, and if she didn’t watch me closely, I would lick the lotion right back off. Nowadays, I’ll accidentally eat food too soon after putting lotion on my hands, and my affinity for that taste is absolutely gone now.

Check out panel #4.

Sorry to the OP. but didn’t you contradict yourself, or maybe I’ve been whooshed?

Thanks,

Automotive Antifreeze, just out of curiosity. Just why do dogs and cats gravitate towards imbibing in this ambrosia.

Oh wait. Its an organic chemical.

A little speech given by Brother Cavill in the Battlestar Galactica series got me to thinking about using one’s senses to experience things outside of the norm.
Something like smelling the gamma radiation or tasting a comet’s tail.
That said, I’d like to taste a anything extra-terrestrial. A comet, the moon, the gasses of Jupiter, a solar flare… like that.

Yep. Bras.

My set of oil paints. I want to see whether there’s any correlation between color and taste. Then I’ll eat my set of acrylics, to see whether the tastes correspond to the oils.

Does Bordeaux Red taste like wine?
Does Burnt Sienna taste burnt?
Lemon Yellow . . . Olive Green . . . Orange Ochre . . . Sap Green . . . Raw Umber . . . Burnt Orange . . .

Comet.
Cigar tobacco.

Molten steel.

Jupiter.

The whole thing?

Or only Drops of it?

Which part of ‘Jupiter’ didn’t you understand? :stuck_out_tongue:

I wonder if anyone wants to eat Uranus.

I guess dog food is actually edible, isn’t it? Some of it smells pretty good.

I really like the smell of the pink antibacterial hand soap you find in the bathrooms of bars, restaurants, etc.

<SLAPS Ludovic with Professor Farnsworth’s 31st Century Wet Trout>

I know from experience that stuff tastes horrible. Some of it smells like a stink-bug too.

You can eat lot of inorganic things if you want. Michel Lotito ate bicycles, shopping carts, televisions, a Cessna 150 airplane. He died fairly young at 57 but it probably wasn’t directly related to his eating habits.

I’ve eaten Comet (powder) when I was a kid…just wet my finger, dip it in the powder and put it back in my mouth…maybe 10-20 times each occasion. Not that bad.
