Ok so maybe this guy should have just minded his own business and let you go speeding through the neighborhood. But no he waved you down and asked you to stop speeding. So you think what the fuck, tell me to slow down. I guess you showed him didn’t you, you little fucktard. I hope you have a very long time in a very small room to think about what you did. Asshat.
Just to clarify and give a bit of body to your rant, the thing he did was ram his car into a baby carriage with a 14 month old in it.
Jeez, don’t you guys know how to quote?
Hmmm.
yeah, that one was pretty disturbing - but the link below the story was worse … 12 year old charged in a rape and murder of a three year old.
Why yes but…
Well, even if our speeding driver never does time, he already faces public humiliation, what with people bound to yell “Pram Rammer!” at him wherever he goes.
I guess the NYC Subway rule of “don’t make eye contact or interact with anyone in any way” is needed in Australia’s suburbs as well.
Humans are too damn dangerous.
Well from the article it appears that he has tried to run over at least two people, the father and the baby and also possibly the mother if she was there. I’d say there are at least two counts of attempted murder or at least vehicular homicide. Or at the very least assault with a weapon though IANAL I would have to imagine something like this has got tol be in this guys future.
Asshole, meet cell.
Asshole in cell, meet Bubba.
Bubba is 350 pounds of greasy, sweaty muscle and fat, and he says you’ve got a purdy mouth.
Even if she’s really, really hot?
Well, that just means she’s a lesbian lawyer.
as for the OP story, where’s Fifi and Max when you most need them?
I suppose you can ignore the rule in that case, but it won’t help, because she follows the rule religiously.
I agree with GawnFishin’, he should be charged with attempted murder.
I also agree. What a horrible, horrible thing to do. Apparently, some people just can’t control their roadrage.
No, some people can’t. And I would think that by now everyone would know that. That’s why it boggles my mind that the father would flag the guy down over this. I mean, 80kph is roughly 45mph, and most residential areas (round here, anyway) are zoned as 35mph. So this guy took his life and his daughter’s in his hands over someone doing 10mph over the limit. That’s clearly far too fast to be driving in a residential area, but I dunno as it’s worth getting killed about.
Don’t get me wrong, the driver is clearly 100% to blame for this situation. He’s slime, frankly. And I know the dad was just trying to look out for the other people in the neighborhood. But still, the risk of someone else getting hurt by someone going 10mph over vs. the risk of the driver being a nutjob who’d hurt or kill you and/or your baby…that seems like an awfully stupid thing to have done.
AFAIK residental zones are 25 mph (40 km/h).
But still, first off, how the hell did the father know at what speed the car was moving at? This driver was clearly not pushing (say) 55 mph since he was able to stop when being flagged down. I’m surprised he was able to flag the driver down at all. Even 25 mph is pretty fast to stop immediately if you saw someone waving their hands.
And how does a 55 km/h (~35 mph) vehicle hit a carriage and only move it 10 meters with the kid pushed another 5 meters? Even a glancing hit would have either hit the dad head on (fatally) or a tire would have ran OVER the carriage (what’s a pram? Is that a different type of carriage than the one where a kids is sitting down on?).
I’d say there was more words being traded that aren’t mentioned and maybe a history between these people. There’s just no way I can see a carriage taking a hit without instantly killing the kid at that speed.
Depends on the state, but either 50km/h or 60km/h are standard. 40 km/h is used around schools during term.
I wouldn’t be suprised if the driver was the local ‘hoon’ that is well known in the suburb for racing up & down the local roads at high speed. Unfortunatley it seems that most suburbs have one of these morons in them. I can envisage a scenario where the father waved the guy down after seeing several high-speed runs down the same street.
Before they sling the arsehole in jail they should make him push the button on the compator that turns his car into a neat little cube of metal.
