The solution to this was found written in blood in a margin of the Latin translation of the Necronomicon by Olaus Wormius. The author had apparently then gouged out his own eyes and taken his life in a particularly gruesome fashion. His body was found next to the book, wearing an amulet of curious and exotic design.
Shortly thereafter, the book was sealed and placed in a storage vault at Miskatonic University.

A friend of mine interviewed her for a research paper a few months ago. She’s very nice, still creaking along and has accepted her role as “national treasure”. She apparently gets schoolkids knocking on her door on a regular basis for school projects.

I don’t remember the poster’s name and not any real specifics about the thread but wasn’t someone claiming that many women who went to doctor’s appointments were actually having sex with the doctors behind closed exam room doors? Gawd, I hope I didn’t just dream that.
