Was discussing these old shows the other day with friends. The original show was from Sweden as I recall and was dubbed to english.
Who was the girl who played Pippi and does anyone know what she is up to now if anything?

Her name is Inger Nilsson and she came from a place called Kisa in Southern Sweden. After her career as a child actor she became a doctor’s secretary and worked as such for a number of years until she decided she would start acting again. Here’s some more info.
She now pushes burgers for some place called Wendy’s.
