Awhile back the head of Cristal champagne was misinterpreted as saying he didn’t want hip hop artists to be associated with the brand. Subsequently, Jay-z boycotted it from his work.
So is Cristal no longer ‘hip’?
While I’m admittedly not a big player in the after-hours rap/hip-hop scene :eek:, it seems to me that the entire Cristal/bling/solid-gold-rooms fad has become somewhat passe.
