Whatever happened with The Kenniwick Man?

A bunch of years ago a skeleton of what appeared to be a possible race of man that that was beleived to be of caucisiod/asiatic descent that existed prior to the native americans of today. It caused a great deal of controversy due to the potential ramifications it would have on the history of this country pre-white man.

The area on the Kenniwick River where the skeleton was found looked like it contained even more skeletons and possibly artifacts but was buried under tons of rock by the Army Corp. of Engineers. Then the native americans were demanding the body be given to them for a proper burial.

Does anybody know that status of the remains?

The various Native American were found not to have any claim over the remains by the courts as of a few years ago. Not sure what happened after that, but I presume the remains are being studied by anthropologists

I’ve never heard that there were any other remains at the site.
