Here’s the situation: I have a legitimate prescription for pain relievers, from a legitimate doctor. However, I have no prescription insurance. My pain meds are pretty expensive. I keep getting emails from places guaranteeing to save me “Up to 60%!!” on Hydrocodone. But in actuality, they are very expensive, much more so than my local pharmacy. Obviously, these sites appeal to folks who want the drugs without the hassle of getting a 'scrip for them. Are there any legitimate online pharmacies (in Canada, perhaps?) where I can save some money on my prescription drugs?
I also pay for my scrip (BCs) out of pocket, and saved some bucks by going to drugstore.com. YMMV.
it’s pretty late tonight, but I’ll probably check them out tomorrow. Thanks!
There is considerable dispute about the legality of importing drugs into the U.S. from Canada. The FDA’s position is that, with a few exceptions, it is illegal, though I doubt they’re actively hunting down people who order small quantities. There are court cases pending that may clarify the issue, but for now I don’t think we want a thread about how to do it.
Let’s limit this thread to discussion of online pharmacies of the sort that the FDA and state licensing boards wouldn’t object to.

The National Association of Boards of Pharmacy has a program called The “Verified Internet Pharmacy Practice Sites” (VIPPS). Currently only 13 online pharmacies qualify. There may be more that are legitimate that aren’t on the list for one reason or another.
bibliophage, my apologies for skating into gray territory. Thanks for the list, though. The very first one I checked out only charges $5.00 more for 90 tabs than I currently pay for 25 tabs!
