What's a good tennis magazine subscription to give my father as a gift?

Title is self-explanatory. I have found two that seem to be the major contenders, “Tennis” and “Tennis Life.” Any readers out there have opinions?

Dad is 71, plays doubles several times a week with a reasonably skilled and fit group (for their age). Would be interested in both the pro scene and articles on techniques, equipment, etc. (I think!).

I subscribed to Tennis Magazine for several years and I liked it. I’ve also moved this thread to The Game Room from IMHO.

I can’t recommend anything, but I bet his tennis partners could. Why don’t you give them a call?

Is he a member of the USTA? If so, then he should already be receiving Tennis Magazine as part of his membership. Heck, one gift option would be giving him a membership for a couple of years. Another option would be a gift card for a good online tennis gear shop, like Tennis Warehouse.

(I am not affiliated w/the USTA or Tennis Warehouse, just familiar with them.)
