Yes, the small and moving sample who just flopped off and started snoring.
Maybe no one has told you how inappropriate that is. Heels without hose belong in the bedroom not in the boardroom.
If she’s only wearing a skirt, I’m looking at her breasts… :eek:
Foxy40, fashions change, you might be dating yourself. I have noticed some younger woman like to still wear heels in the Summer and not wear hose or stockings.
Jim {Damn, what do you know, I do partially notice shoes. I cannot tell you style or color, but I know heels vs. no heels. My apologies Gigi, I might be very wrong.}
I’m a fan of legs in hosiery although bare legs still catch my eye just as easily.
The high-fashion events like the awards shows usually feature high heels and no hose (usually strappy sandals).
Strappy sandals belong with bare legs, it’s just right. Must admit I often wear heels but never tights/stockings unless it’s for a fancy dress party. Even in the depths of winter I’m not tempted towards them…but I can get away with boots and socks instead.
So that makes me definitely more bedroom than boardroom - good job I have such fantastic pins then!
That last part demands that someone requests a cite.
BTW, the is a Britishism I was not aware of, is pins a common term for legs or something less common?
Jim
Aren’t you precious.
I hate hose, and I wouldn’t wear them if work didn’t make me. Then again, I’m naturally tan and have no need of them. Some women in the South equate hose with girdles and think it’s highly inappropriate to wear them, but that’s another mindset. I’ve also never worn pearls with a twinset, but I like to think there is a wide range of fashion choices available to a woman that don’t involve an oversimplistic labeling of her moral character.
Whoops, meant to post "Didn’t " wear girdles/hose.
Super cool hep cat Christian refers to Cher as having “nice stems” in Clueless.
Yes, pins is a common term for ladies legs.
For those who may not be aware of it, the area between the top of stockings and panties is known as “The Laughing Ground”
'cos once you got as far as that you were laughing
