I’ve been posting an OP in Cafe Society repeatedly and it is not showing up. I also tried posting an OP in MPSIMS and it also didn’t show up. Whatever this is, I hope you fix it. Really, between these frequent board errors, and the 9,000-second wait between searches, I’m starting to wonder why this board’s functioning seems so inferior to other, virtually-identical forums that use the same software.
What gives?
I had problems all weekend. It took me about six tries this morning just to log on.
The thread did go through as posted, but it wasn’t visible. The main pages here sometimes run slow and don’t show new posts. Someone else will be along to explain why that is.
I don’t think we should hold our breaths. This problem of New Posts not refreshing straight away has come up many times in this forum in the last 6 months with nary an explanation in sight.
Frankly I don’t think anyone knows why these glitches occur periodically, including Jerry.
And sure enough I got a series of reset connections when I tried to post this earler. The fun never stops.
Yeah- I thought there was a somewhat known reason for these hangups, but now I’m told there isn’t.
