There have been no new posts for about 50 minutes – has the board died again?
Well, this seems to have posted, but doesn’t show up on the main list of the board.
And now the main list has updated successfully.
Same ol’ same ol’.
And it’s happened again today – the lists haven’t been updated now for about 50 minutes. Do the squirrels running the SDMB servers have a problem with running fast in the mornings? Are they partying all night?
We have several other threads pertaining to board performance. Why did you feel it necessary to open your own?
Because it was at two times when when it was not possible to see other recent threads. If I can’t see threads, how can I contribute to them?
How Zen. Like the sound of one hand clapping or asking if Helen Keller fell in a forest would she make a sound…
I guess when you said you saw no new posts, you meant you had seen no posts from the last week, not your last visit?
None from the previous hour or so, so I had no idea whether anyone had commented on the current delay.
I might add that I post very few OPs. This is my second so far this year, and I only posted one last year. But, if IAmNotSpartacus thinks this is on the same subject as another thread, he/she can always report it to the mods.
