What's that song in The Simpsons?

I forget the episode, but in The Simpsons Bart once swapped the church organ player’s music sheets for a kinda rock song. I think the words started like “In the garden of Eden…”

What is that song? I’m sure it must be famous.

Wow, first in a Simpsons thread. I’ve never done that before. Anyway Here’s a little more. There is a connection between “In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida” and “In the Garden of Eden”

Dorman and Bushy went to his house late one night and Ingle played the song for him. They liked what they heard and asked Ingle what the title was.

“He said ‘In the Garden of Eden’ but it sounded like ‘In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida,’” Dorman said.

Ron wrote it down phoenetically. The next day, we just decided, ‘Yeah, let’s just do that.’ It sounded good and everybody liked it."

And a little more to show the songs fame.

Their looking for a keyboardist/vocalist. And the easy part is you get to sit back and relax, go get some coffee, take a walk and score with a groupie during the 40 minute drum solo.
