Ok, I just finished watching some Seinfeld’s on a tape. In the end of The Wig Master (7th season, episode 128) Kramer is strutting down the street wearing a Technicolor Dreamcoat and a cool tune is playing in the background. So what’s the name of that song and who’s performing it?

It’s some kind of funk, that’s all I can tell.
It was probably composed specifically for this scene by the guy who did the theme music.
It sounds like Digable Planets, but if it is I can’t place the song.

I tried SoundHound (music ID program), but I think the laugh track messes it up.
There are brief vocals in the track, I think if it was made custom for that scene it wouldn’t have had that.
The bass line is reminiscent of Digable Planets’ Cool Like That. The vocals don’t seem to match, though.
I would guess it is a piece of a song on a loop. If you have the DVDs, the fine print of the credits would probably have the credit if it is a song that wasn’t composed specifically for the episode.
