One thing to bear in mind with cordless phones, if you have an 802.11b or 802.11g wireless router (WiFi/AirPort/AirPort Extreme), DO NOT purchase a 2.4 GHz cordless phone, wireless base stations transmit and recieve on the 2.4 GHz frequency band and will cause unstable connection issues
46/49 MHz, 900MHz, and 5.4GHz phones are all fine, it’s the 2.4’s that cause problems
