“With The Beatles” was that the UK version or the USA version. I think of it as the one with the iconic album cover. The “four head” album.

The album is classic. After the usaual five favorites by critics and fans this one ranks HIGH. Probably starting the next best five. Magical Mystery Tour is up there in that second five best too.
Hold Me Tight just kicks it! I just put it on YouTube. Remastered listening with a pair of decent headphones. It rocks!
Totally agree about “Til There Was You”. Their take on this song was very sweet, and suited Paul’s voice wonderfully. “All My Loving” is the better song, and an original. But that little gem from The Music Man is probably my favorite track to listen to from that album.
I believe this was the only show tune the Beatles ever put on one of their albums, yes?
I, for one, thank you. My decision came down to “DBM” and “HMT” and it was hard seeing the one I almost picked getting no love at all. Yeah! It’s a tight number and a lot of fun.
Just like in the “Please Please Me” thread (“Twist And Shout”), I voted for a cover , namely “Money”. Obviously I like the early Beatles in full-fledged R&B mode.
