So, Saturday I am flying to Portland, Oregon from San Francisco, California for the sole purpose of driving back with a friend on Sunday. He drove up with his girlfriend today. She’s staying up there for summer school and he was supposed to drive down with some of her friends. Unfortunately they all bailed on him and he was faced with having to drive alone, something he’d never done over that distance. So Obsidian and I decided to fly up Saturday night, crash with him and his friends and drive with him Sunday. All on 72 hours notice. And I’m afraid of flying. But he’s been my friend for 7 years and he needs me so I’m doing it without hesitation.
