What's the current re-enlistment rate in the US military?

I’ve seen a lot of pundits lately throwing around conjecture that the re-enlistment rate is, or will be, lower than usual; is this true? I Googled “reenlistment rate” and couldn’t find anything current. Anyone got the dirt?

I’m also looking for factual proof of the claim I commonly hear that George W. Bush has cut or reduced military/veterans’ benefits. Preferably I’d like to find such information on a non-biased website (e.g., one that doesn’t have a URL like “bushsucks.com”).

See this related thread Enlistment rate in U.S. Army–is it dropping? for a bit on what the army is doing to encourage re-enlistment.

Ah - thanks. I searched on “reenlistment rate” but didn’t think to search under “enlistment rate”. :smack:

Since this thread duplicates one in progress, I’ll close it.
