Does anyone on the Dope have any direct experience with Finelo? It’s a phone app that parlays your $20 investment into allegedly vast sums within a month using AI. It looks really suspicious, another dodgy financial scheme aimed at the elderly, advertising heavily on Facebook. The only solid problem I’ve seen attributed to it is that it’s difficult to cancel the autopay subscription. I guess no one wants to complain too loudly about being out twenty bucks, but there has got to be some stories…
Does it say you get the money?
I looked it up. It’s an investment learning simulator. No real trading.
Yup. Like those ‘courses’ people used to offer in how to get rich in real estate etc. Only online rather than an in-person snow job.
Don’t waste your money. If you want to do ‘simulated’ trading, you can do it yourself with a spreadsheet. And if you’re not comfortable with that, you shouldn’t even be thinking about trading.
It has SCAM written in giant neon letters all over it.
