What's the deal with people ordering ice cream or soda on cold days?

I’d love to have a 30 degree day here.

Well there’s your problem right there.

Just for comparison, the heater in my van start blowing hot air in about 2 minutes, and the front seats (I’ve never ridden in the back) are toasty in about 5.

It may be 17 degrees out right now, but it is 70 in my living room and I’m eating an ice cream sandwich.

Because I wanted one and I had them in my freezer.

I don’t know what it’s up to, but I’ll second, or third, or fourth or whatever the statement “Because it tastes good.”

I must be a tremendous dumb ass. It’s 72 in the house and I’m warm enough to be barefoot, yet I’m still eating a freaking fried egg and bacon. How could I not have noticed my incredible climate-zone mismatch? I should be eating ice cubes instead. (Heaven forfend that I should open a window in the winter, but that’s another thread.)
