I saw this stuff at the grocery store and wondered how it differed from regular Smirnoff Ice. Anyone got an answer?
You ‘Black’ out three times as fast?
I bought a bottle of it a couple weeks ago and it was pretty good if you like those sorts of drinks. The only difference I noticed was that Triple Black tasted sweeter than your normal Smirnoff Ice.
I drank 8 bottles of it on a marketing survey before it was launched.
Never again.
I dunno, I haven’t tried it yet.
At work, I sell a few bottles a week of it. Most of the people I’ve asked about it say it tastes pretty much the same.
It’s probably stronger than the regular one - I remember drinking black label vodka when I was 15 and passing out the next day from the effects…

They probably want you to think that it is stronger than the other one at least. I dunno, I stay away from sweet girlie beers, the hangover is almost as bad a champagne, even from just a few.
Huh? I like the Triple Black because it is much less sweet than the regular Smirnoff or other citrus malt beverages, which are too sweet for me.
Sure but these vodka branded drinks here in the States aren’t actually vodka, more like flavored beer. And I think they can only be so strong.
The radio commercials make it sound like they’re so disgusting you won’t be able to drink one (guys wetting their pants, crying for mommy, etc).
I’ll stick to the real thing, thanks.
oh EW! That stuff is like drinking Frosted Flakes already. I think my teeth are going to fall out if I so much as look at a bottle of the stuff.
Shrug. I can’t handle hard liquor much as I’m just a neophyte drinker at this point anyway.
