Okay, I get the point that ND doesn’t belong in a bowl, but I’m afraid that is as far as I understand…
Are you just gloating that ND is not bowl eligible this year, or were you referring to the 1992 Sugar Bowl joke?
Regardless, I would think that any ND-haters out there would actually be upset this year, as the Irish were so bad that they may just get rid of their coach, which would improve their chances in the upcoming years. If they had had a year of average mediocrity and landed themselves in something like the Seattle Bowl (?), Davie would still be around, which would be a boon to to all those who jeer at the greatest team in college football history.
