What's the end game shaping up like for GM and Chrysler at this point?

Now that the decisions have been made and approved re the break up procedures what’s emerging from the dust re the entities that were Chrysler and GM?

They’re two debt-free companies with established brand recognition and billions in assets. They’re going to have it easier than Hyundai did, assuming that (1) GM can continue incrementing its quality (it’s not bad these days), and (2) Chrysler massively and quickly increases its quality.
