Specifically, when’s it going to start airing? Any word yet? I just glanced over at imdb.com, but nothing jumped out at me. I’ve never read any of the books (started on the first one, but I couldn’t get into it, as I run hot and cold when it comes to the fantasy genre, especially when it’s on the page), but I’ve heard good stuff about it.
Anyone out there in the know?

Awwww now I’m all blushy. 
They finished the pilot, HBO loved it and told them to start filming. They had to replace Catelyn and Daenerys and reshoot some scenes in the pilot because of this, other than that there are no more news.
I didn’t know Catelyn had been replaced. I can’t say that I’m crazy about the new woman. She looks a bit old.
That’s okay. She’ll look much worse eventually.
Yet again, I’m crossing my fingers. I’m glad that GRRM is pleased by what he’s seen of the HBO series so far, but I wish he’d just buckle down and finish the damn books already. Sheesh.

I haven’t read any since the second one. I own the third one, but then I realized how long it was taking and stopped reading. I’m starting to wonder if he will die before finishing it.
I hope the show is good. I am pissed that Legend of the Seeker is canceled and could really use another show, even though I’m aware how different the two are.
