It’s one I’ve had prior to a few job interviews, where there’s some sort of management involved.
You’re presented with some graphs or vague figures about, say, the performance of four companies. From these, you’re meant to suggest whether or not the companies should proceed or had proceeded with certain plans. It’s a vague description because a) it was while ago that I took one :o and b) there isn’t any actual number crunching to do. You’re meant (I think) to figure out if there are trends or single fields to consider among many.
During the same testing session, candidates are given other tests that measure basic mathematics, the one I’m thinking of is more of a test of an abstract or analytic skills.
Anyone sit or design one?
