What's the name of the Microsoft utility..?

There’s a little default utility program in XP, entered from the run box as it’s not on the start menu, that allowed one to change default boot options as well as choose what services and applications loaded at boot. I’ve gone blank on the name. I’ve tried msd, msv and several other permutations but haven’t got it yet. I know it was short and simple. Please help!
(yes I’m standing by to kick myself)

msconfig

MSconfig?

ETA: Damnit Dickerman!

That’s it, thanks!

If you are at all tech oriented, or want better control over everything (or run new MS operating systems), check out Microsoft’s free utility AutoRuns. It gives you a much better view of what is running at system start, and much better control over it; even including things like browser plug-ins and helper objects.

Thank you for that, I currently use 3-4 different apps to do what this does all in one.

If you want to mess with the services only you can also use services.msc from the run bar.
