It’s the new VW Beetle commercial, that doesn’t show the car but just shows some guy in an office building. The song sounds like some amalgamation of the Beatles and ELO.

When you say it sounds like Beatles and ELO, I wonder if you’re specifically thinking of new Beatles’ songs of which supposedly Jeff Lynn of ELO helped to orchestrate, IIRC. You may recall these “new” Beatles songs were released in the mid-late 1990’s.

It is off the Out of the Blue album. The song is Mr. Blue Sky, one of my favorites from the 8th grade.

I’m surprised that Mr. Blue Sky (the doper) didn’t answer this question.
I’ve noticed the song Mr. Blue Sky is also being used in the commercial for the new Nick Cage movie as well (at the very end over the credits). My husband noticed it as well and declared “ELO is the new black!” heh! Fine with me - the more ELO the better!
