What's the worst movie you ever saw?

Having read the book, I had no desire to see the movie.

That book HAD to be non-fiction, because you can’t make up people like that.

In living color!

I swear, in my memory it’s black-and-white. I have no idea why.

Seconded.

It rendered you partially blind, that’s why.

Flesh and Blood or Flesh+Blood. Stopped watching it halfway through back in the '80s when you had to rent it. It was not historical, nor romantic, nor an adventure. It was directed by Paul Verhoeven. Bloody awful.

But it had a young Jennifer Jason Leigh fully naked in ALL her blonde glory. No, not a good movie, but for a horny teen boy at the time, it was worth watching for that. I seem to recall the freeze frame on the VCR got extra work on this movie.

Actually, the book, which spent an outrageous 216 weeks on the NYT bestseller list, was heavily fictionalized, although they were quiet about this. But the people and, to a large extent, their stories are real. “The Lady Chablis” (Brenda Dale Knox, born Benjamin Edward Knox) is not only for real, but wrote her own book in the wake of MitGoGaE’s success, Hiding my Candy. I’m not surprised that she’s the only one to play herself in the Eastwood-directed movie (which is itself heavily fictionalized from the book).

I found the book interesting, but the film much less so. But it’s useful to know that you’re a couple of removes from reality in the film.

Voyage of the Rock Aliens

Is that even considered mainstream?

Casanova directed by Fredrico Fellini. 1976. Oh dear…

I enjoy arthouse films and odd stories. Eg. Donnie Darko and Memento.

But this…was numbingly awful.

I took my new (long term) girlfriend to see it and when I reluctantly suggested, we move on half way through she agreed. In all honesty it was a relief to get outside into a rainy night on my small trailbike.

Close down the thread. Anybody ever seen a flick called “Out” or as it was titled when I saw it “Deadly Drifter”? Starred Peter Coyote and Danny Glover. 2.8 on IMDB. I will purchase any copy I see in the cheapie rack just to keep some other unaware soul from seeing it.

I suppose that depends on what kind of stream you live near.

Oh, God, yes! Little Miss Goldenbush, mmmmmmmmmmmmmm! :o
