No, no, I got you all beat. You have not endured cinematic torture until you are stuck on and American Airlines flight to London, they turn out the lights so you can’t read and show a movie entitled Bogus.

It is a heartwarming tale about a lonely young boy (played by Haley “I see dead people” Joe Osmond) whose greatest dream is to be a magician. Not a mystical Harry Potter type of magician, more of a pulling-flowers-from-your-sleeve Siegried and Roy type of magician. It gets worse. He is helped in his quest by an imaginary friend named “Bogus”. Bogus is played by… wait for it … Gerard Depardieu. shudder This movie couldn’t have been worse if it had a Whoopie Goldberg/Pauly Shore love scene.

|Krull was actually on last night and I watched it for a little. I’m going to have to upgrade my rating of it. The concept of a five bladed boomrang is pretty cool and it was pretty easy to riff on. Plus the token heroine was kinda hot (IMHO). Bad, but enjoyable.

Once, long ago, I did a rental double-feature that included both HIGHLANDER 2 and FREEJACK. I have never recovered.

Damn. I’ve never even heard of some of these movies and I’m thankful for that from the sound of them!

Of course, some of the ones you didn’t like, I do.

But, I have to add my voice to those shouting Battlefield Earth and that piece of crap they called Highlander II (couldn’t possibly be Highlander II as there is only the one :slight_smile: ). As bad as Dungeons & Dragons is, and it is bad, it does have Jeremy Irons in it (poor guy. I have convinced myself he took that part because one of his sons wanted him to really, really badly) and I can mute everyone else’s dialog.
