Ngo tags along with Patriot Prayer during demonstrations, hoping to catch footage of an altercation. Ben says Ngo doesn’t film Patriot Prayer protesters discussing strategies or motives. He only turns his camera on when members of antifa enter the scene.

Yeah, new information about the Patriot Prayer assholes is making me more hesitant. This is a group that roves the streets with weapons, including bear mace and clubs, looking to start fights.
My threshold for when it’s okay to shoot someone in self-defense is pretty high, a lot higher than it is for a lot of folks on this board. But if a group of people wielding clubs are coming at you and they’re spraying mace, it looks a lot like they’re trying to disable you before they beat you.
So I’ll wait to hear details. Was the shooter just pissed off at these assholes and shot one out of anger? Did he go out that night planning to murder a Trump supporter? Or did he have a genuine fear that he (or another protestor) was about to be beaten, possibly to death?
Neenah man arrested at Green Bay protest has ties to Antifa
A Neenah man had a flamethrower, smoke grenades and fireworks during a demonstration in Green Bay Saturday night, according to police and prosecutors.

The criminal complaint says Banta “is known to be a violent Antifa member who incites violence in otherwise relatively peaceful protests.” Police say he’s known as “Commander Red.”
Green Bay police say they were called for “a whole bunch of white people with sticks, baseball bats and helmets headed… towards the police” on Walnut St. near Webster Ave.
“I don’t know who comes to a protest with a baseball bat for anything other than criminal or illegal activity,” said Green Bay Police Chief Andrew Smith.
A responding officer says he saw four individuals walking towards a protest with baseball bats. One man was wearing a metal helmet with goggles and military-style gear with multiple pouches, and was carrying an Antifa flag. When the officer pulled his squad car in front of the group, they ran away. The officer caught Banta, who was carrying the flag, and says Banta “dropped into the fetal position and began crying.”

Commander Red is an anarchist, not Antifa.

After the shooting, Reinoehl said he realized what had happened and “was confident that I did not hit anyone innocent.” He then left the scene feeling “totally justified [that] had I not acted I am confident that my friend, and I’m sure I, would have been killed.”
