What's this fiber optic ribbon called?

What do you call the kind of fiber optic device that carries many fibers together in a ribbon, keeping them in coherent order so that the pattern of light input along one end comes out the same way at the other end?
“Fiber optic ribbon” seems to refer to computer networking fiber optics that put multiple fibers into a ribbon, but terminate each separately at the ends. There are typically dozens of fibers in these devices.
The device I am looking for would carry hundreds or thousands of fibers together, and they would not be terminated separately.
If I wanted a 2D areal image, rather than a 1D linear one, it would be called an “image conduit”.

Fiber array.
