Does anyone know what this virus is called and what I can do about it? The icons on windows run away from my mouse.

Likely the Magistr virus. Symantec’s blurb on it:

I found this link on Google by searching on “icons run” virus.

The specific name is Worm.Magistr or W32/Magistrmm. I would suggest going to symantec.com or cnet.com and looking it up. They both have full descriptions of most known virus’s.
