Three fine albums in the mid-1990s, including My Life, one of my favourite contemporary country/folk records. Since 1996, there’s been nothing, barring the odd cameo or backup role on the discs of other artists (e.g. Steve Earle’s The Mountain). Anyone know why the lengthy wait? Any news of a forthcoming album?
She sings a few songs with John Prine on his last duets album, and she was his guest star in Sessions at W 54th St concert which is available on DVD. I’ve got it, and it’s fantastic.
