LOL…Alien Skin…what an idiot…there is no Alien Skin anywhere on that site (do you KNOW you’re software? LOL)which incindently is a storage facility more than anything else. 11 megs of storage for free…and years old to boot.
If you want to further examine artwork you might want to View my work in Ralph Bakshi’s Heavy Metal (an acedemy award winner for art design), Wizards, and Cool World. Furthermore logo’s for The Lexington Marriot Hotel Griffon’s Gate complex and Miami Sound Machine’s debut album “Miami Sound Machine”. CGI for NIN64, Playstation: Alien v.s. Predator cover art (I might ask who you work with at Sega…might it be Jerry?).
So I suppose as a copier of Archie comics that makes yopu an original thinker, or are you in fact the creator of the Archies…LOL …Didn’t think so.
Currently I do CGI imagery for Earthlink Network and am working with “Banned From the Ranch” in Santa Monica.
Look, I know the geocities site is lame, but look at the dates on the work there …The lastest stuff is years old. Except the advertising banners. Hey what can I say $60 each for 10 minutes work. Adult Friend Finder paid for my Daughter and I to go to DisneyWorld. =)
mmmmmm-hm.

I was going to apologize to Jon for critisizing without first checking out some of his work. I only saw the one…er…um… comic-like, prisma color, logo on Opal’s Links page. Then I noticed he had a site…ape-law, with awitty reparte about death and the clanging cymbals of the simeon. I like it. How did you produce that gif john?
Oh yeah…you didn’t. Sorry. Don’t mean to front you off like that. Er…um…where is the link to your vast assemblage of your work… I suppose I could just ask over at Warner. Or Fox.
mmmmmm-hm. Knock yerself out, Brucie.

Wow, that’s some resume TheArtist has; curiously, though, he doesn’t feel that working for Ralph Bakshi, Sony, “Banned from the Ranch” or any of these others merits mention on his website, which he uses to sell his services. Interesting. Also interesting is the fact that his name doesn’t show up in an IMDB search. Oh well.

I suppose I could load entire 25 minute sections of movies on the site…I could do it here…but you guys bitch about Shanes pics taking to long to load. I’ll tell you what…go to Blockbuster, get out your card, and rent them. They have ALL three titles…read the credits. If you’d like I could either go update that site especially for you Phil, or I could give you the blather list of everything I’ve done (because I know how much you all like the way I blather)
LOL you’re a cracker…I’ll tell you. Gee the Internet Movie Database…LOL Check this out…search for Industrial Light and Magic and you get: Sorry, there were no matches for, person (cast or crew) = industrial light and magic. However I do believe they exist…LOL. They don’t even list Bakshi’s Heavy Metal…which you can rent at Blockbuster. Although they do list 52 others.
IMDb Sorry, there were no matches for, person (cast or crew) = heavy metal.
Of course if you’d look at the way IMDB works, you’ll notice that the Animation titles don’t list artists at all (of course you already KNEW that)…rather they list voice characterization artists, writers and actors for “live parts”. DUH…
Actually it DOES list…Heavy Metal, But NOTHING about, animators, production houses including Bakshi Studios) Thats ok he wont feel bad being left out when Industrial Light and Magic is on oh so many occasions…
Jon’s a program? I never could have guessed…

What does that have to do with listing important professional references on your business web site?
[[[[I’ll tell you what…go to Blockbuster, get out your card, and rent them.]]]
I’ve seen them all enough for a lifetime.

Just wondering why you don’t use your extensive feature-film work to sell your services. That’s your deal; don’t blame us.

Ho hum…if you read posts before you retort, you would have seen this:"Actually it DOES list…Heavy Metal.
Now of course you know that there were over 700 animators, inkers, and color palette technicians involved on that project…of course you did…you moron…why don’t you post the etc etc etc that you posted? Why? Because it doesn’t list everyone you sap…
Actually the reason I wouldn’t ask Jon to “prove” his animation experience, is because in all likelihood he can’t. The poor downtrodden lives of production artists are rarely documented. Head animators, story board artists (some of them), Lead background and matte painters (NOT usually anyone but head personnel listed). I’d just actually now like to get a chance to see some of Jons stuff besides the logo on that page. All kidding aside…er…(I think it’s kidding, although the swear words are flying LOL)
[[Graphics Notice: If you want to use it, YOU’D BETTER ASK FIRST! All works cannot be reproduced in any fashion without consent. ]]
Doesn’t including this mean you’ll be deluged with requests from parents of untalented first graders desperate for stuff to magnet to their fridges?
Actually you win the prize! It’s incredible! Ian has solved the mystery of the Westinghouse Gallery! These pics were specifically put at the geocities site to be used as life sized, refrigerator wallpaper! No more Formula 409, OH NO! Now it’s WD-40 and a bic lighter as the preferred method of refrigerator clean up…
Coming soon: full sized wallpaper to envelope your Jason-Matic from Ronco…it slices, dices, chops, grates and mutilates my artwork! But wait! If you order now, you can receive, free of charge, a linited edition, Fabulous Freddie Ginsu Glove! What could be better for ripping up unwanted graphics?!?
Carole Merrill…tell our contestant Ian what he has won…
Sure thing Bob…Ian, you have won a years supply of Lee Press On Nails…to be worn on those special occassions of tearing Bruce’s art off refrigerators! Oh the unadulterated sanctimonious joy that can be had…
[[Whoops! I was wrong! LOL There are pics! Sexiestfemale? And look another Jennicam…er um after the proprietary enter here, enter there, sign up for this…oh wait…it isn’t hooked up. Let’s see who else is here…]]
Enter here, enter there, sign up for this? Pardon? I have no idea what you’re talking about. Anyway, we moved and the cam is in a box still. The server is moving, DNS rcords should be changed this week. The full site is now up, with plenty of archived pics, pics of me when I was a dancer, pics of me as a kid, pics of me with a beard, pretty much anything you want to see. The cam should be unpacked sometime this week as well.
OpalCat’s WDH (opens in new window)
Btw, I’m happy to see that the scripts that run the front page are still working after the server move! (the sky at the top should match the sky here where I live in terms of weather and time of day. On clear nights, you can see the moon in its current phase.)
Some things won’t work til the DNS records go through, like some graphics that are “hard coded” to fathom.org… because the current “fathom.org” is only a set of placeholders, and some links are set to fathom.org rather than being relative. Anything that comes up “404” try replacing “fathom.org” in the url with “206.161.122.160” and it will probably work.

Actually Opal, I shall use this opportunity to say I apologise to you and certain others who may have born some brunt of some venting I did after getting what could only be referenced as an unexpected response to a simple question. Last thing I expected was to grilled about my insensitivity at not allowing people to be who they are…by folks who turn around and do the same thing. Of course I always promote doing what you want where you want…but that also leaves you open to those that want to comment. I leave myself open to comment all the time =) . I only like to examine the people that comment on me. I.E…my unoriginal Photoshop renderings…using photos (which is sort of the idea of Photoshop), commented on by a person who sel proclaims himself to generate comics that someone else created and now he leeches of off…At least my designs are of my own, and not someone elses characters. My pen and inks, which no one commented on have been in Tattoo Magazine and Tattoo Flash Magazine. Of course I think the newest one is at least 2 years old…(I suppose I do need to update that page) Anyhow pardon the intrusion…but it’s hard to hear how people think that I think I’m better than…especially after going to great length to characterize myself as being at least as stupid as anyone else. I do not characterize myself on my page as “the best artist” or “the sexiest” or “the best anything”.
Oh, TheArtist? Your “artwork” needs some work. Really. You especially need to work on faces. Really.
You especially don’t have the right to look down your nose at the other posters here. You aren’t in some “higher league” in talent.
Just for the hell of it, let’s do some comparisons…

I assume by your comments that you think I am proclaiming myself “sexiest” on the TM Homepage. Duh? We had a series of “awards” that the regs came up with and then voted on. I certainly didn’t decide who won what.

Before you claim too much right as an injured party, your first direct comment to me was:
Any idea why I might’ve been upset at that? And you’ve followed up with
Which is, of course, not what I “claimed” at all. I have worked for Archie, and will again in the future. I like working for them. You evidently worked for Bakshi. Were you leeching off him? Does that make you uncreative?
Perhaps research is in order. Try Opal’s link to my sketchbuk, or go here http://ape-law.com/wustudio/sketchbuk .
You got my goat, I must admit, and I reacted strongly. You maligned my art, or at least my ability to create art. How did you feel when I replied in same?

Actually I like most of your stuff Jon…
For anyone interested there’s a couple of pics here… http://home.eathlink.net/~imagine68
Opal…please…that is NOT a face drawing, it’s a torso. And it’s been published. (Besides the net)
When I worked for Bakshi we did our own character sketches. However I did ink thousands of animation cells, and yes I was leeching. At the time, in high school, I would have leeched off anyone to make a buck.
