What's up with these Marvel characters?

I still pick up a few comics here and there, but don’t really pay too much attention to them like I used to. Still, every now and again, I see something that just makes me think “What the hell is going on?” So, if anyone still pays attention, can you fill me in on a few characters (mainly from the X-tittles):

Havok. Last I saw, he got blowed up, and woke up in the body of his alter ego in a different, screwed up dimention. Now he’s back, pissing off Lorna, and wearing another funny outfit.

Dark Beast. He was evil, kidnapped and replaced the “normal” beast, got found out by Onslaught, and then, I don’t know…

X-Man. Is he dead yet? And what about Sugarman and Holocaust?

Angel. When did he stop being blue? And when did he get the ability to heal people?

How’d Psylock kick the bucket?

Does Jean have control of the Pheonix force again, or is she just manipulating her powers to imitate it? And what happened to the character Pheonix (Racheal Summers)? Last I saw, she was floating threw space and having a little heart to heart with Galactus.

And the big one: What was up with that “Apocolypse, the Twelve” storyline? As far as I can tell, it seemed to be a big storyline trying to make something out of an offhand comment made by Sinister in the Mutant Massacre or Inferno storyline or something that somebody decided to pick up several years later as an excuse to screw Apocolypse’s character more. I just glanced threw it and saw that it led to that “Search for Cyclops” series, but for the most part, I have no idea what it was about. But seeing as how the Big A was my favorite X-villain, I’m a little curious.

They’d mentioned the prophecy of the Twelve many times. Eventually they retconned it so it was all a hoax by Apocolypse, who used The Twelve to try and gain control of everything.

Not that MOLECULE MAN WOULDN’T HAVE SHRUGGED AND PUT EVERYTHING BACK.

**How’d Psylock kick the bucket? **

Psylocke was stabbed to death in the pages of X-Men X-Treme, during a fight with the villainous Vargas. Vargas had beaten the tar out of Rogue and Beast before Psylocke showed up, and he killed her quick and easy.

Does Jean have control of the Pheonix force again, or is she just manipulating her powers to imitate it?

This is a current plot that hasn’t been fully revealed yet. She has been manifesting Phoenix Force-like powers for about the past year, and had a huge flare up when she caught Scott and Emma Psi-fucking.

She’s not doing it consiously, and Xavier is concerned for her.
