What's with the association between being angry and taking a dump?

I’m picturing a guy who isn’t angry and isn’t crapping. “I don’t give a crap,” he says.

And then he gets angry; also, he craps on something. “I give a crap,” he says.

This may be why I don’t get asked to illustrate books for kids.
