So I’m watching the Spurs / NY Knicks game and I’m seeing that the San Antonio Spurs has these little gold tags on their collars of the jerseys. They’ve had it all season (so far) long. What is this? I didn’t see anything on their website or nothing in the local news. What gives?
The NBA added them this year: any team that has won a NBA championship gets the gold tab. It’s kind of cool, if you ask me (… as a fan of a team that has won it all!).
