If you have a camcorder, try this. Point it at the TV and record. The color of the TV will be different, and there will be these colored bands moving slowly down the screen like movie credits. Mine are green colored. Why does this happen?
This is caused again by the slight differences in the frame rate rate between the TV and the camcorder, and also the vertical sync will be out of phase. Colors are never faithfully reproduced by a camcorder and the problem is compunded when taping a TV screen, since the whitte balance of the TV will not match that of the camcorder.
