I haven’t seen Roger Ebert on television for many years. I don’t watch his movie review show.
Tonight I saw him on 20/20 talking about Marlon Brando.
It seemed to me he was talking from the side of his mouth.
Did ebert have a stroke or something?
Ebert said he has had a tumor in his salivary gland “in one form or another” for 16 years. Not good!
Anyway, thanks for the info Annie
The tumor awakened when he overused the gland salivating over the gleefully nasty review he was going to write of “Freddy Got Fingered.”
I thought this was going to be a thread about what is wrong with his reviews. Man, he really missed the boat on Pootie Tang!
Thanks for starting this topic. I caught Ebert’s and Robert’s show a couple of weekends ago after not seeing them for several months, then saw them a few days ago on Conan. I was shocked how old Ebert looked. Even his voice sounded old. Not recalling any news that he was suddenly ill, I wondered what happened too.
Roger Ebert, missed a boat? Dude, if Roger Ebert made his living actually catching boats, he’d spend half his life leaning off the end of pier shouting and waving at retreating vessels.
