What's your annual salary divided by your SAT score?

$0.
I didn’t take SATs, being a pesky Canadian, and all.

Currently? About 90 cents. I’m a substitute teacher’s aide, it’s the only work I’ve found in 6 months of looking.

If the position I had last summer had been full time? $7.33

1500 SATs. Look at how much it helps.

$53.13

$47.62 (adjusted SAT)
Duke University, BSCE
Packaging Manager, 12 years in packaging

I had never seen that “adjusted” table, wow!

Uh, according to Cecil, Bush had a combined SAT of 640+640=1280. Which makes his score here 200,000/1,280 = $156.25/point. Off by a factor of two. Which of course opens you up for the obvious joke asking “who’s the real one inflating their math SAT score here,” but I won’t go there.

And not to be harsh, but Bush (or any other holder of his role) is well underpaid by market standards.

$9.80/point. But I’m in grad school getting my PhD right now, so that’s not unexpected.

$7.68/point.

Bill, AFAICT the President’s current salary is $400,000.

Somewhere around $11 per point.

grad student/teaching assistant.

$8.85 which shows that the job market in this state is pitiful. (if the only job I can find was full time year round, it’d be about $17, but that’s not saying much)

I like this recentering thing. 670 looks more impressive than 610. I still don’t even come close to 500 in math with the bonus points, though. Does anyone else wonder how’d they do if they took the test again now?

Actually, Ringo’s correct, or at least pretty close. The salary for POTUS has been increased (I don’t know when) to US$390,000, which brings his per-point salary to $304.69

Quiz: the US Presidency (see question 10)

$44.63 per point.

Software configuration and testing, 6 yrs experience.

about $53 per point.

Management Consultant - NYC

I just consulted the recentering table. The good news is my verbal score translates to a perfect 800 in the new reckoning. The bad news my per point average drops to $18.51.

self esteem…falling…

Straight salary would be $78.13 per point. With bonus, its $95.00 per point.
Attorney, 7 years of practice
Harvard B.A. in Government

Price per point: $25.

Why it shore nuff (approximately) is. My apologies.

Signed in by Mr. Clinton Dec 21, 2001, I’m surprised it didn’t get more press. (Or, I suppose it’s more likely I didn’t read about it, barely literate as I am).

$32.50/point in Reno, Nevada.
Environmental Engineering degree from Cornell University with 7 years experience. I do environmental restoration work, and the non-profit sector isn’t particularly kind to that number.

$70.42 per point without bonus
BS in Business from CSUN
Currently IT Manager of App Dev for an Ins Co.

I gained 30 points on the recentering. Before recentering, $40.88. After, $39.44.

14 years in the full-time workforce, if you take out the time I was in grad school. Almost 5 years in current field (immigration paralegal), although some previous work was semi-related. Undergrad: NYU, Spanish major. Grad, Indiana U., Russian & East European Studies. Liberal arts all the way!
