I am AB+. My 2 sisters and I all have different blood types. I think one of my sisters has the same type as a parent but the +/- might not be the same.
I like my blood type for the fact that I can be in the hospital and not deplete the stores of O- blood.
I hate my blood type for the fact that I can’t help anyone in my family if they need it. It really really sucks and I hope it never comes up.
I donated blood 2 or 3 times but I usually did platelets (my count was somewhere above 350k). I haven’t done it in a while because of 1 very bad experience but I’ve been thinking of getting back into it.
