What's your favorite Disneyworld/Disneyland ride?

I believe that it was in Injun Joe’s cave that I first smelled the pungent aroma of what I would later learn was marijuana. I have also encountered it in line for the Haunted Mansion and in Monsanto’s Journey Throught Inner Space. One late night friends and I were preparing to board our boat at Pirates of the Carribean; but the party that got out of the arriving boat were escorted through a suddenly-not-hidden door by two men with pot belly’s in suits with big plastic ID’s. We all look aghast at the ride operator, a teen guy who says “Please keep your hands and feet inside the ride at all times.” (Soto voce with doobie gesture to lips) “and no screwin’ around.”

LOL,Mothchunks.

CG loves the Tiki Birds,too…after I made him finally do it the last time. He said it was ‘too kiddy’ and ended up loving it.Sheesh! :rolleyes:

No question. I could ride Peter Pan’s Flight all day long. It actually does feel like you’re flying over London.

::sigh::

I can’t believe nobody’s said Eastern Airlines’ “If You Had Wings” yet. It used to be one of the only “free” rides back when you needed a ticket per ride. (There was a sort-of parody of it in the recent Simpson’s episode where they went to Epcot.)

Great labor-of-love website about it:

“If You Had Wings” is what I was referring to when I mentioned the WEDWAY.

My mom and I go to DW together every year - the last two years we went twice - May and December - and it is a different experience at the different times of year. This year I’m going with my cousins at the end of April - 3 single women, out to have a good time! Woo!

As for favorites - I have a weakness for so many, I don’t think I have a favorite. Mom’s favorite is Thunder Mountain, which I like too. I miss original Imagination - haven’t seen the latest version, but did see the one before and hated it!

As for hotels - we always stay at the Boardwalk Inn or the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Boardwalk is very convenient to Epcot, which is where we spend a lot of our time, and it also has the boardwalk available. AKL is fun because you really do get to see the animals fairly close, plus it has a great gift shop, and good restaurants. Go to Boma for their buffet - it’s really, really good.
