When I was a kid and we went to Stations of the Cross, the “Stabat Mater” was sung with a very haunting melody. I checked YouTube and none of the versions I listened to used that melody.

I heard Jefferson Airplane’s “White Rabbit” on the radio today and wondered if it had been mentioned in this thread from 7 years ago. I’m quite surprised that it wasn’t. The video is just as creepy/haunting/psychedelic as you’d expect from Jefferson Airplane.

I remember long ago, waiting to see Platoon in the theater for the first time, and they were playing White Rabbit on the cinema speakers. I didn’t know what the song was at the time, but I remember it was especially cool and spooky.
