What’s your favorite piece of Holiday music? Who’s your favorite performer?
My all-time favorite is the classic, Deck the Halls , tho a good runner-up would be Carol the Bells .
I especially love it when performed by Manneheim Steamroller
What about the rest of you? What are your favorites? Who do you like them performed by?
I love the entire Christmas CD by The Temptations, can’t remember the name.

My favorite piece is also “Carol of the Bells.”
My favorite Christmas album of the moment is the Charlie Brown Christmas album. We listened to it during Thanksgiving dinner. Mighty fine…
My favorite album is “A Broadway Christmas.” It is outstanding.
My favorite song is “When Children Rule the World.” My favorite funny song use to be “I Don’t Remember Christmas” on the above mentioned CD. Then I heard Carols for A Cure 2001 with the cast of Urinetown singing “Little Davey Dinkle.” It does not get any better than that.
I hate that skank Mariah Carey, but her rendition of “O Holy Night” completely blows me away. For the last few years it’s been my favorite carol.

Tuck Andress’ (of Tuck and Patti) Hymns, Carols, and Songs About Snow. His guitar playing is amazing.
Anything by Nat King Cole and Frank Sinatra.
Although I sometimes find the arrangements annoying, I do appreciate the abilities of Mannheim Steamroller.
My favorite is also O Holy Night .
I like The Trans-Siberian Orchastra a lot.
My fave would have to be Little Drummer Boy, I don’t really have a fave version of it though. Any recommendations?
Oh and just for kicks I love the Bob Rivers Twisted Christmas Carols (Carol of the Drunks, Police Stop My Car, Grandpa Got Run Over By A Beertruck…)

Do You Hear What I Hear?
Anything by Manheim Steamroller. In fact, I think I’m off to start an appreciation thread…
The only two Christmas albums I have are Johnny Mathis’ 1959 Merry Christmas and John Denver’s Christmas album he did with the Muppets.

Trans-Siberian Orchastra and Mannheim Steamroller are good in any of their Christmas albums (and good in non-Christmas albums too, come to think of it), but my favorite is from when I was pretty young, and would dance around with my stuffed animals to Amy Grant’s Emanuel .
