My favorite movie is Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samuri, and my favorite series is Star Wars (as long as you keep that stupid ass Episode 1 out of the series).
Wow! I found someone that agrees with me that Episode One is crap! Thanks for letting me know that there are somesane people out there, robgruver. My favorite movie series would probably be all the Alien movies. I don’t have a fav movie though.
I’m with you. The Phantom Menace was too computerized and Anikan was a whiny, self-centered little ass. He was probably my least fav character that wasn’t made with a computer. With computer. . .Jar Jar Binks.
The only thing that I think can save Episode 1 for me is if 2 and 3 open up some new doors into 1 that are not there right now.
In the end though, Star Wars is a great trilogy.
Ok, ok. Everyone in their right mind agrees that Episode 1 sucked ass (even though I’ll still end up buying the DVD). Let’s get back to the subject at hand.
Favorite movie; I’d have to say “Fight Club.” Favorite series; The View Askiewniverse a.k.a. all Kevin Smith movies… except for “Mallrats.” That was just a godawful viewing experience. Not even Jay and Silent Bob’s wacky antics could save it. It really raises the question of how one goes from a slice of brilliance like “Clerks” to a scoop of shit like “Mallrats.”
Oh no… I think I’ve just gone and done that whole Episode 1 thing over again.
Oh well. Discuss.

Casablanca is my favorite movie. I really like the Godfather, but it is hard to plan to watch such a morose picture.
I love the Star Wars stories and especially The Empire Strikes Back. Episode I was something of a disappointment, but I think it is prologue to what will be a very controversial 2 and 3. Anakin has been set up as a messiah type character who eventually succumbs to the devil’s temptations. As long as Lucas can do this without using the mother left on Tatooine (I hate kidnapping movies with a passion) this could be really interesting.

My favorite movie is The Muppet Frog Prince It has been since I was a little kid. My favorite Christmas was the year my dear sister got a copy of it off of ebay for me.
